Internships are available for undergraduate and graduate students and Ph.D. candidates through Reserve Partners such as Rutgers University- Department of Marine and Coastal Sciences and the National Estuarine Research Reserve System.
National Estuarine Research Reserve System’s Margaret A. Davidson Graduate Research Fellowship
It’s an exciting new fellowship program for graduate students at the national estuarine research reserves. One two-year fellowship opportunity will be available at each of the 29 coastal sites.
Through a research project, fellows will address a key coastal management question to help scientists and communities understand coastal challenges that may influence future policy and management strategies.
Research Internships in Ocean Sciences (RIOS) Program
Supported by a grant from the National Science Foundation, RIOS provides an opportunity for undergraduates to work alongside researchers at the Department of Marine and Coastal Sciences. Interns will conduct independent research in a modern laboratory and will be part of field investigations.
