Halloween Night Hike

It's back! Just in time for Halloween. Guests will take a guided walk through our 1/2 mile Grassle Marsh trail at dusk. Education coordinator, Kaitlin Gannon will lead the group through the trail while discussing different nocturnal creatures that may inhabit the area, plus some star gazing on the marsh observation deck. Dress for the outdoors! All participants are encouraged to bring a flashlight. *Program is weather permitting. Great for both adults and families.

In the spirit of fall, join JC NERR Education Coordinator, Kaitlin Gannon for a guided walk and nature exploration focused on the different types of leaves and species of trees along the Grassle Marsh trail. Participants will log/journal their findings and learn how to identify different types of trees based on their leaves. At the end of our walk, we will do a leaf rubbing activity. Dress for the outdoors! *Program is weather permitting. Great for adults and families.
